Sri Lanka’s Health Minister Nalinda Jayathissa met Bangladesh’s newly appointed Prime Minister Tarique Rahman during his visit to Dhaka for the swearing-in ceremony of the new government.

Minister Jayathissa conveyed warm congratulations on behalf of the Government and the people of Sri Lanka.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, with particular focus on the pharmaceutical and tourism sectors.
