Suspect arrested with 108 Turtle Eggs in Balapitiya
A person was arrested by the Sri Lanka Coast Guard with 108 turtle eggs at Randobe in Balapitiya on Tuesday.
The arrest was made on Feb. 17, 2026, following intelligence received by the Coast Guard.
The suspect and the seized turtle eggs were handed over to the Ambalangoda Police for further legal proceedings. (Newswire)
