A shipment of furnace oil required for electricity generation has arrived in Sri Lanka.

Managing Director of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Mayura Neththikumara, said the vessel is carrying 30,000 metric tons of fuel oil.

The ship arrived in the country yesterday (April 12), and the process of pumping the fuel to the Kolonnawa Oil Storage Complex has already commenced. (Newswire)
